About us

The Library of Parliament is open to the public. In addition to serving the Parliament of Finland, the library serves all who need parliamentary, legal, or social and political information Information about the library and the archive.

When searching for materials in the Library of Parliament, use the library’s own Selma search service. The information on materials available in Selma is part of the national finna.fi service.

The collections, services and expertise of the Library of Parliament are available for everyone. Most of our services are free of charge. Customer Services gives advice and guidance on how to use the library, its collections and databases. The loan period is 28 days.
